“Om”
This is the OM symbol… it is NOT the Halal sign, it is not the number “30″ or “3D”… it is not the ‘yoga symbol’ or the namaste, but is related to yoga practice in that it is a mantra used in meditation that yoga prepares the physical body for.
‘Om’ is the primal sound or vibration from which the entire universe constantly emanates. It is the sound of creative departure and return. The sounding of ‘Om’ is the beginning of a transformative process which delivers us to a state of awareness enabling us to actually experience identity with the supreme Creative Principle.
Only 1 person who has seen it on me, has accurately recognised it.

ha ha lol… okay so i have the “Om” symbol as part of a new tattoo that i got and I totally know what you are saying. its almost like im the one that wrote your post. almost everyone that see’s my tattoo for the first time says…..whats the “thirty” about….or whats the “three zero”….?? im like people….common….its the Om symbol…. anyone anyone??.. i thought people were more evolved and cultured. obviously not. ;0

OM is not just the symbol of Mantra in Yoga Practice. Om or Omkaram( as in Sanskrit) represents the cosmic universe and all its beings. This is used as the first word in chanting of various Hindu Ritual Mantras. It represents God Shiva, the Destroyer in the Trinity of Gods for Hinduism.
OM when chanted alone, in appropriate form aroses inner strength and vibrations of the muscles, making a human feel fresh throughout the day. A next higher level of chantings makes it arose the kundalini power that is situated at the center of womb, near the intestines. Regular chanting in correct form sharpens the sixth sense and makes it more active that it normally is.
